These terms describe how BOCA's directory works. BOCA is to review and approve them.
Registering
- Registration is free. Arbiters, coaches and organisers register at Join BOCA, as one or more of the three.
- A FIDE ID is optional; ratings, titles and federation are read from FIDE's records, never typed.
- By registering you confirm that what you give is true and that the certificates you upload are yours.
Review and publication
- Nothing is published until BOCA has reviewed and approved the profile.
- A qualification is shown once BOCA has checked it against its certificate. Certificates are never published.
- BOCA may ask for changes, decline a registration, or suspend or remove a profile.
Your profile
- You choose which contact details the public sees: e-mail, phone and WhatsApp are hidden unless you choose to show them.
- Coaches choose whether their rates are shown.
- You can update your profile, add qualifications or hide it at any time through the private link e-mailed to you; a new link can be requested at any time.
Contact through the directory
- The directory only puts people in touch: bookings, fees and payments are arranged directly with the arbiter, coach or organiser.
Personal data
- Personal data is handled as described in the privacy notice of the Bulawayo Chess Association.
